Jefferson County Fair & Rodeo
July 22 - July 25
The first Jefferson County Fair was in September of 1931. Schools were closed for two days, and it featured a rodeo, horse racing, boxing and a parade plus all kinds of games for kids.
While specific pieces of the Fair change from year to year or over time, the recuring theme of a County Fair do not change! A County Fair should showcase/promote local agriculture, arts and industry , while also entertaining. It is encouraging agricultural, stock raising, horticultural, mechanical, artistic, and industrial pursuits within our county.
July 22nd – 25th are the dates for the 2026 Jefferson County Fair and Rodeo.
This year’s Fair & Rodeo is shaping up to be our largest event yet!
